Tamie Morgan - GIS Training

SUMMARY

Tamie Morgan is a professional GIS analyst who has owned and operated her own consulting firm, Meca Inc., since 1994.  After earning her degrees in Geology from Rice University and Texas Christian University, Mrs. Morgan worked for a short time in the oil and gas industry as an exploration Geologist for Union California and Henry Energy Corporation.  In 1986, she changed her focus to Geographic Information System analysis and worked in the Environmental Division at the Fort Worth District Army Corps of Engineers for 5 years. Over the course of her career, Mrs. Morgan has had the opportunity to work with a variety of institutions and industries including the City of Bedford, DOD, INS, Corps of Engineers, URS, Dewberry, Michael Baker, Freese and Nichols, Fish and Wildlife, USFS and many others.  She is currently a Professor of Professional Practice in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Texas Christian University.
